Barometer and Altimeter App Reviews

Great app

This is a good app and I like the recent update to show multiple unit types. It also shows height differentials which is nice and potentially quite useful. One improvement that would be great is the ability to enter a reference pressure. Maybe that could be an in-app purchase option. This was one of the first pressure apps for iPhone 6, and works as advertised. Recommended.

Great start, simple app!

Nice to see an accurate reader for my iPhone 6. Good simple start, cant wait to see where it goes. Only gripe is the app icon, its kinda ugly. Maybe get rid of the border, add a gradient to look more iOS 8-like?

Great app!

Thank you for adding support for other units of measurement. Clean interface and amazing accuracy. Well Done!

Nice app but...

Seems to work except that it shows my altitude as 0 when Im located 740 feet above sea level, and theres no way to adjust it. The phone ought to be able to get correct altitude info.

Not there yet

No way to set reference altitude; everything is relative to arbitrary zero points. At least let me type in a known altitude. And maybe for 99¢ you could pull it from GPS? App could use a little design work, and definitely needs a new icon. Nothing this ugly will live on my home screen...

Really well done app

No frills and works great!

Good app... A little more for 5 stars

Three suggestions 1. The appearance is a little too plain. 2. The ability to log data, maybe plot it, would be terrific. 3. No way to calibrate the instrument. I am sitting next to a NWS barometer that reads 29.929"and the pad reads 29.897" It would be great to have a way to recalibrate the pad.

Awesome app

Great to have an iPhone with a barometer, and a simple app works great with it. Thanks!

Cool

Does what it says it does, cool app.

Great for high pressure situations

I dig it.

A novelty...

A mere novelty at this point. Not incredibly accurate but close enough. A way to calibrate the reading to a known pressure would be great.

Good app

Too bad there is no trend graph

Fantastic!

As a wx nerd, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the pressure drop as an arctic front moved through ❄️ Itd be great if the app could set the reference height using gps coordinates.

Simple and true (can improve)

Shows the barometric pressure! And thats about it. Would be good to be able to log it or show the pressure variation on a graph. After all it is the relative change in pressure that really matter, this app doesnt help in answering the question: is the pressure going up or down?

Sweet

Nice, simple, free. I look forward to a paid version with more features.

Cool to have

Not really sure why my iPad has a barometer, but its nice to have an app that just shows raw data from the device.

Fun App

This is a fun app! I measured my house from the basement floor to the upper floor ceiling (29). Im sure Ill think of even more to do with this soon. I live in the mountains of Colorado, so if nothing else, I always love to know what the elevation of the spot Im standing on is, and Im usually left trying to remember how much higher that is than home. ☺ Maybe this will encourage me to learn more what changes in barometric pressure mean, too!

Great!!

For iPhone 6 and 6 Plus must have this app. Very useful.

Temp data

I would give this five stars if it had the ability to change temp to F.

Useless

Junk joke not worth free.
